And the roadtrip continues-Part 2

After the marathon we headed to Memphis to eat some Rendezvous BBQ and walk Beale Street.
Room 306 at the Lorraine Hotel in Memphis where MLK Jr. was shot

There was a lady sitting outside of here that had been sitting here for over 20 years protesting that the Lorraine Hotel be used to house the homeless instead of as a tourist attraction. Interesting....

Next, we headed to Indianola, Mississippi to visit my grandma for a few days.

But, not before a pit stop in Tunica. No money won here...we came out even this time, but don't you worry, there will be more chances to come....

There's never a dull moment with Memaw around. She's 85 and yet to lose her sense of humor :)

We ate at The Crown Restaurant. Talk about some down home southern cookin'. You've never had better sweet tea. You can't beat it. Dustin was in heaven.

Headed back to NWA to pack up and move out of Laurel and Josh's before we head out on the Western leg of the trip.

And once again, not before our casino pit stop in Greenville. This time we won $40 in 10 minutes. Not bad, eh??

I love me some family time...

Dad opening a bottle of Verge-our good friend's, Emmy and Jay, wine label. Impressive!

Me, Laurel, Chelsea (cousin)My handsome dog, Atticus. I'm gonna miss him, but he's being well taken care of at the Doggie Dude Ranch. Thanks, Mom and Dad :)
The best parents in the world and that's a fact...
